SCHOOL PLACEMENTS

The Quintessentially Education school placement service is a dedicated and highly specialised service which aims to place your child into the right school. There is little doubt that the independent education system in the UK seems like an incredibly complex network. There are many aspects to take into consideration when deciding on which preparatory or public school is right for your child. Boarding or day pupil? City or countryside based school? These are apparently simple choices, but ones which will have a huge bearing on the choice of school. Does your child excel in specific areas such as Sport, Modern Languages or Art? Not surprisingly, these preferences should also greatly influence your choice of school. Does your child experience particular learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia or ADD/ADHD? Some schools more than others are experienced with such cases. Our service starts with an introductory assessment, an incredibly important tool to help us understand what steps need to be taken with regards to your child’s educational path. Quintessentially Education’s expertly trained assessors use the most current and accurate tools available in educational development. The service also includes the following elements: • Preparation - A post-assessment, in-depth discussion detailing the schools that we suggest as best suited to the child. • School Choices - A full background report on each of the shortlisted schools. • School Liaisons - Consult, negotiate, and at times make personal recommendations to these selected schools on your behalf. We also ensure that there is a mutual understanding between the parent’s expectations of the school and the school’s expectations of the child. • School Visits - We organise special visits to up to five chosen schools, and provide a Quintessentially Education consultant to accompany the family on these visits. • Documentation - we organise school reports and collect a personal statement from the student, preparing and sending all the registration documents to the recommended schools.
