Last week, Quintessentially Education’s very own Head of Education, Jess Harris, and expert schools consultant Charles Milne, took to the skies for an exciting and jam-packed visit to China. Not letting the jet lag stop them, the team spent their first morning offering private consultations and advice to international families interested in exploring the UK education system for their children. After a busy day meeting with a number of wonderful families, the team then hosted an exclusive event for Quintessentially members, where Charles gave an informative and extremely well received talk on the tricky admissions procedures for the UK private schools.
Day two proved to be even busier, as the team jumped from meeting to meeting before hosting an afternoon tea session in partnership with a HK based parenting group. This provided a fantastic opportunity for parents to meet and network, as well as to discuss the pros and cons of parenting and to ask the incredibly knowledgeable Charles any questions about his boarding school experiences. There was then a very successful event for members of Maggie & Rose family members club, where Charles spoke to parents about educational strategy, finding the right path, and how to tackle the ever changing admissions procedures to top UK schools.
The final day involved a bright and early start, with Charles and Jess boarding their second plane of the trip to travel to Beijing. The purpose of this trip was to host a private function for one of our well established corporate clients, who are incredibly keen on giving their clients access to the best education services available. The event proved to be a real success, and we are now looking forward to providing their clients with longer term educational support.
Jess and Charles returned at the end of last week and once they’ve recovered we will begin planning the next so watch this space….!
