1. Bell English at Wellington College Summer School
Best for: English Language, Business Skills and University Preparation
Location: Wellington College, Berkshire
Residential/day: Both residential and day options available
Price: £2,625 – £4,405
Bell English offers their flagship English Explorer programme, where students can explore the English language and develop life-skills through lessons, study-tours, activities and specialist academies. The camp also offers a Young Business Leaders programme, which teaches language for business and valuable practical business skills. Students set up their own businesses and compete in the Bell Business Challenge.
2. Discovery Summer Schools

These intensive programmes are designed to maximise every opportunity for improving students’ English language, and also include a wide range of programmes for those who are passionate about sports or fascinated by technology.

The camp is set in 90 acres of amazing grounds and with facilities including a heated indoor swimming pool, modern indoor sports hall, forest school area, outdoor courts for a variety of games, spacious, well equipped common rooms, warm and inviting dormitories, and wonderful kitchen and dining facilities. On the course, campers can take part in air rifle shooting, fire making, raft building and racing, quad biking, problem solving, outdoor cookery, shelter building, nature walk, drones etc.

The Oxford Summer Courses are offering specialized programme for 10-24 year olds who want a taste of life at one of the world’s most prestigious universities and schools. Activities range from morning tutorials to afternoon electives that are designed to broaden students understanding of what they’ll be studying and how to excel in their chosen fields. Candidates are lectured by Oxford graduates and graduates from other prestigious institutions, who can impart practical wisdom gained from their personal experiences. The Learn and Experience summer camp offers a huge variety of activities to happy campers. Expect plenty of water fight championships, camp fire nights, murder mysteries and theme nights all with the gorgeous Yorkshire countryside as backdrop
8. Cambridge School for Visual and Performing Arts
Best for: Performing Arts
Age: 15 – 18
Price: £1,175 (one week)
The Cambridge School for Visual and Performing Arts (CSVPA) is famous worldwide for its courses and diplomas in every different medium of the arts. They offer expert educational summer camps in everything from art, film making and fashion to drama, directing and music. There’s a musical or physical theatre course depending on child’s preferred artistic calling. The courses include 35+ hours of contact time with professional artists, as well as optional evening excursions and activities. For those interested in different artistic fields there are also summer camps on offer in the areas of fashion, film making as well as art and design.
9. Firetech – Wycombe Abbey School

With 25 hours of tuition, tech-loving kids can get under the hood with courses on web development, Python coding and computer games design. Courses around the country including a day camp venue at St John’s School in Leatherhead.
10. Met Film Making Camp – Rugby School

Met specialise in film making and production for the younger generation. The programme operates out of Rugby School, and campers will have access to the schools state of the art multimedia centre to try their hands at everything from directing to editing and everything in between. Scene writing, camera operation, video editing and actor direction are just a few of the skills taught at this camp under the expert tutelage of professional film makers. Along with the more technical side of the programme there are many social activities for your budding Speilberg, including movie nights and creativity workshops.
